This notice is for repository publication hygiene. It is not legal advice and does not replace review by patent counsel.

StreamKernel may be described as "patent pending" after the filing receipt is confirmed. Do not publish draft patent documents, attorney work product, privileged review notes, or private legal materials unless counsel approves publication.

Patent Rights

The StreamKernel Source Available License does not grant any patent rights. Use, evaluation, or redistribution of StreamKernel does not grant any license, express or implied, to patents or patent applications owned by Steven Lopez or StreamKernel.

Commercial license agreements may include explicit patent grants as negotiated terms.

Publication Checklist

Before pushing private code or documentation to a public repository:

  • confirm SK-PROV-001 has been filed if preserving pre-publication rights is required;
  • remove draft patent documents, attorney work product, and privileged review notes unless counsel approves publication;
  • remove secrets, private keys, tokens, customer data, and local credentials;
  • remove generated benchmark artifacts that are not intended for public reproducibility;
  • confirm third-party license notices are present for bundled dependencies, container images, model artifacts, and demo tools;
  • use the confirmed application number and filing details above when adding "patent pending" language to README files, diagrams, and marketing material.

Third-Party Software

Third-party projects referenced by StreamKernel retain their own license terms. StreamKernel patent and commercial license terms do not change those upstream licenses. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md.
