More meaningful default for colors

Currently the default style uses multiple colors to express the same thing.

In this screenshot, the colors and meanings are:

• Green spinner (represents future progress)
• Gray text (descriptive text)
• Pink line (represents completed work)
• Gray line (represents to-do work)
• Yellow percentage (calculation of percentage work done, based on the pink line and the gray line)
• Green numbers (shows number completed and total work, total work is completed work plus to-do work)
• Orange time (time spent, for the completed work)
• Blue time (time remaining, for the to-do work)

I think with this would be more meaningful if the numbers and text related to the same concept use the same color. And I think this should be the default so I'm discussing it here.

1. The color representing done things should be the same color, perhaps pink
   1. The line segment showing completed work
   2. The numerator of the fraction of work completed
   3. The time elapsed for completed work
   4. The percentage of the complete work
2. The color representing to-do things should be the same color, perhaps blue
   1. The line segment showing work to-do
   2. The time remaining for to-do work
   3. (Possibly) The spinner

And it is my very humble though that if pink and blue are the default colors, then the denominator of total work to be done (including completed work, plus to-do work) that this color should be purple. Because purple is near to the addition of pink and blue. This part is less important than the other items above.
