Solo dev · Godot Engine tooling
Sharp tools for the Godot Engine — built by one developer, used by the whole community. Language servers, test frameworks, an IDE-grade script editor, and more.
Hi, I'm 5cump1 — the shrimp behind Dead Shrimp Studio.
Everything here starts the same way: I hit a rough edge while working, I get obsessed, and somewhere between the first commit and the hundredth compile it becomes a tool the whole community can use. Dead Shrimp Studio is the home for that work — native, fast, and free at its core.
- gdshader-lsp-cpp (
C++) — The only active, feature-complete language server for GDShader, written in C++ for speed and reliability. - Godot HTTP Server (
GDScript) — An HTTP server implemented in pure GDScript to run web endpoints, webhooks, and tooling backends right inside your Godot project.
- Godot Code Studio (
Flagship / In-Development) — A VS Code-style revamp of the built-in script editor—proper tabs, command palette, multi-cursor, real navigation as a GDExtension. - GDExtension Test Framework (
In-Development) — Test your C++ GDExtensions directly in C++ using a GoogleTest-style framework that boots a real Godot instance under the hood. - cogodot (
