Freelance Invoice Templates

Free, ready-to-use invoice templates for freelancers and contractors — including a USDT / crypto invoice template with network fields for TRC20, ERC20, and BEP20. Copy, fill in, and send. No signup.

A clear invoice gets you paid faster and with fewer back-and-forth emails. These templates cover the common cases for international freelancers: a standard invoice, an hourly/time-based invoice, and a crypto invoice built for USDT payments where the network matters.

Topics: invoice template · freelance invoice · contractor invoice · crypto invoice · USDT invoice · billing · international clients · get paid

How to use

  1. Open the template that fits your work.
  2. Copy it and replace every [bracketed] placeholder with your details.
  3. Save as PDF (print the HTML one, or export the Markdown from your editor).
  4. Send it to your client, and keep a copy for your records.

What every good freelance invoice includes

  • Your details — name/business, address, email, and tax ID if applicable
  • Client details — who's being billed
  • Invoice number and dates — a unique number, issue date, and due date
  • Line items — clear description, quantity/hours, rate, and amount
  • Subtotal, tax, and total — with the currency stated explicitly
  • Payment instructions — bank details, or for crypto, the asset, network, and address
  • Payment terms — due date, late-payment note, accepted methods

Getting paid in USDT? Read this first

If you invoice in USDT, the network must match between you and the payer:

  • USDT on TRC20 → a TRC20 address (starts with T)
  • USDT on ERC20 → a 0x… address on Ethereum
  • USDT on BEP20 → a 0x… address on BNB Smart Chain

Sending on the wrong network can cause permanent loss. The USDT invoice template has explicit fields for asset, network, and address to prevent this. For the full breakdown, see the USDT Payments Handbook.

Prefer not to manage wallets and networks yourself?

PayrollFlow lets you collect client payments into an account and withdraw to USDT (TRC20/ERC20/BEP20) or a local bank — with a review step before each payout, so a wrong-network mistake gets caught before funds move. 👉 Get started
