How to make the executable show up in dmenu_run?

I'm on i3wm on Arch Linux.
I installed the app from the bash script which installs in on ~/.local/bin.
I added that to my PATH variable.

However, it doesn't show in dmenu_run. which I use to launch apps.
What can I do?
