Leadpoet Pi Harness

An open-source Pi agent harness for live B2B company sourcing.

It takes one ideal customer profile (ICP), searches approved providers, verifies recent intent against public pages, and returns up to five ranked companies with sales-ready explanations and evidence URLs.

The callable contract is:

Each returned company contains company_name, company_website, company_linkedin, industry, employee_count, country, state, fit_summary, fit_evidence_urls, and one or more intent_signals. Each intent signal contains its ICP index, description, date, why_now, evidence URL, and supporting snippet. The runner validates this structure and public HTTP(S) URLs.

The host provides these tools as plain JSON: search_companies, get_company_profile, get_company_events, search_web, fetch_page, and submit_companies.

Install

Use Python 3.11 or newer and Node.js 22.19 or newer.

Set OPENROUTER_API_KEY, DEEPLINE_API_KEY, and SCRAPINGDOG_API_KEY in the process environment. EXA_API_KEY is optional. Do not commit credentials or private ICP data.

Run live sourcing

Store real ICPs in an uncommitted JSON file outside this repository. The file can contain a JSON array or an object with an icps array.

The all command first runs one live smoke attempt. With five ICPs and the default two repetitions, it then runs ten scored attempts. Each attempt starts a fresh Pi session and uses the documented provider, token, time, and cost limits. Results are written outside the repository.

Direct calls to harness.run_icp require the host-created BAKEOFF_TOOL_URL and BAKEOFF_TOOL_TOKEN; the runner creates and manages this tool server.

Internal live result

In the completed internal live evaluation, Pi produced 5 sales-ready companies from 16 combined submitted companies. This confirms that the harness can source high-intent companies, but it is not a claim that Pi was the best harness in the separate comparison.

This repository does not change Leadpoet production or the daily rebenchmark.
