Usage

This automatically

1. downloads the most recent FCC service license application data for your server.
2. extracts HS.dat
3. plots histogram of FCC service license grants vs. time

• GMRS: python gmrs.py
• Amateur Radio: python amateur.py

• FCC Transaction filename key
• FCC Transaction application codes:
  • old
  • new

Application order of transactions:

• RECNE / RECRO: New App Received / Renewal App Received
• RDLCOM: Review completed
• FVPCNF: Payment Confirmed
• RDLCOM: Review completed
• AUTHPR: Auth Printed (until 09/2024)
• APGRT: Application Granted
• AUTHGE: Authorization generated (not used after 1998 ?)
• PLAUPR: Paperless authorization printed (starting 04/2015)

Status codes omitted:

• APDIS / APDIS1: Application Dismissed
• APWD: Application Withdrawn
• GRREV: Granted Application Reversed
• PFRCL: Petition for Reconsideration Period Closed
• LETCAS: Cancellation Letter Sent
• LETDIS: Dismissal Letter Sent
